Maps will be offered automatically via MioMore Desktop as and when they are released. You will start receiving the map updates, if available, the month after registration. Follow the instructions on this page to register your device for the lifetime map updates. Click on the link to the lifetime map updates at the bottom. Select your country in the top right hand corner. Map updates will now be offered automatically via MioMore Desktop as and when available. When you get the message Your Map Update Product key is successfully registered. Enter in the character product key included in the box. Map updates are normally released in January, April, July, and October. Maps purchased subsequently will not be updated. Lifetime map updates are released four times per year, and will be offered automatically via MioMore Desktop when available. More info Lifetime Map Updates can only be used to update the maps originally installed on your Mio device.
